You cannot chart a course without knowing where you stand. The Diagnostic is a structured assessment that profiles your writing across the dimensions the methodology cares about: reasoning and thesis construction, paragraph architecture, style discipline, grammar and usage, and rhetorical control.
The output is a skills map, not a verdict — a clear picture of which EssayArc modules will move you fastest, and which habits are quietly capping your grades. Most students discover their real weakness is one or two levels upstream of where they thought it was: the "grammar problem" is usually a structure problem, and the structure problem is usually a thinking problem.
